Welcome home to Haverkamp Properties apartments and townhomes! We are a locally owned and managed company, serving over 700 apartments in the Ames and Des Moines, IA, area. We offer a wide selection of floor plans, with amenities and prices to meet your needs.

Most of our Ames properties come with video, internet and Ames Racquet & Fitness Club membership included. Haverkamp Properties has designated pet friendly apartments and all of our apartments are non-smoking.

Typical lease terms are for one year (August through July), but short-term and custom leases are also available.  At our West Towne location we offer nightly, weekly, and monthly agreements on our studio efficiency units and ground-entry one bedrooms.
